meet your designer

hi there! my name is katie radecki, and I’ve been a floral designer in Indianapolis, IN for five years. I cannot even begin to articulate the joy my soul feels when I walk into a fully stocked cooler, finish off a bridal bouquet, complete an install, or get to dream up a vision alongside a client - but it’s an unexplainable feeling that keeps me diving deeper into creativity and innovation.

my first year of floristry was a little rough - experimenting with grocery store blooms, dried flowers from my personal collection, and trying my hand at weddings for a few college friends who somehow had deep trust in me - but I quickly learned a LOT, honed my skills, refined my style and expanded into formal wedding and event work.

by now, I’ve had the pleasure of designing over twenty weddings, countless events and holidays and installs, and have designed for Art in Bloom at Newfields in 2024 (and will again in March 2025).

I view my work as a designer to be a direct reflection of the beauty of creation - every piece I design with intention and delicacy reminds me of the care and love that my Creator formed me - and you! - with.

I live in Indianapolis, IN with my husband and two sweet boys. we love to walk around our downtown neighborhood, spend time eating ice cream at the park, and drink coffee at our favorite local spots. we’re definitely living in the chaos of little kid years, but we’re surviving and thriving and finding beauty along the way.

some fun facts about me: my favorite color is pink (can you tell?!), I drink my coffee iced in all seasons, I’m partial to any shoe with a chunky platform and still love my converse as much as I did in the eighth grade, and my favorite flowers are cosmos, ranunculus, double tulips, sweet peas…and garden roses and jasmine…(I obviously can’t pick just one!).
